Evidence checked
The award must come from a PopUsIn Business Assurance Review. A business cannot simply switch the badge on for itself.
In simple terms: PopUsIn has reviewed agreed parts of the business, checked supporting evidence and issued a time-limited award. The badge stays visible only while that award is current for its published scope.
Assured is a useful trust signal, not a blanket promise that every possible requirement has been checked.
The award must come from a PopUsIn Business Assurance Review. A business cannot simply switch the badge on for itself.
Every award has an expiry date. If it expires, is suspended or is withdrawn, the Marketplace badge and Assured filtering are removed.
The award covers the areas that were actually reviewed. It does not imply that unrelated areas have also been assessed.
PopUsIn Assured is not a statutory certification, UKAS accreditation or regulator approval, and it does not replace independent certification where that is required.
The exact review is agreed with each business. These are common areas we can bring together.
Identity, devices, updates, backups and practical security controls included in the review.
Privacy responsibilities, data handling, retention and supplier evidence included in the review.
Policies, risk assessment, actions and review evidence where relevant to the business.
Critical dependencies, recovery planning and continuity arrangements where included.
Ownership, review dates, evidence and the business controls included in the review.
Relevant training, responsibilities and supplier checks where included.
The badge is tied to a real review, a defined scope and a current award.
